Our company was founded in 1916 by Ike Knudsen, a marine engineer who studied in Copenhagen, Denmark, and John Lawson, a machinist with 20 years of experience at Superior Shipyard Company.
Northern Engineering is on an upward trajectory. Our skilled tradespeople receive continuous training and the shop is continually adding new state-of-the-art equipment.
